Welcome to my web site!
I have set this site up to assist both students and parents. My goal as a teacher is for all of my students to be successful. Earth Science studies the structures of a dynamic Earth and the events that cause change around it.
The major areas of Earth Science that will be studied are :
~ Geology - The study of the origin, history, and structure of the solid earth and the processes that shape it.
~ Oceanography - The study of the earth's oceans.
~ Meteorology - The study of the earth's atmosphere and the variations in atmospheric conditions that produce weather.
~ Astronomy - The study of the universe beyond the earth.
The first semester covers geology and the second semester covers the other three areas.
This site is updated on a weekly basis. It will show the topics covered in class for the week, and homework for the week as well.
Click on Classwork to find out what was covered in class.
Click on Assignment in the tool bar to find out what homework has been assigned.
Click on Class Notes to see what notes were given out in class.
The student textbook is available to view online using access code C9E444792C at http://www.glencoe.com/ose/
